DJ Fat Tony is a British DJ, author and LGBTQ+ activist whose career spans more than three decades at the heart of international club culture. Beginning his career at just eighteen, he quickly became a fixture in the global nightlife scene, building a reputation for electrifying DJ sets and a larger-than-life personality. Known for his connection with audiences and deep roots in dance music, Fat Tony has become one of the most respected and recognisable DJs on the international circuit.
During the 1990s and 2000s, he established himself as a key figure within the club world, holding residencies at legendary venues including Trade at Turnmills, Egg and Limelight in New York. He also hosted a weekly show at The Palladium for Steve Rubell during the height of the Paradise Garage era. Over the years, his career has taken him to some of the world’s most famous dance floors, including Privilege Ibiza, Space, Amnesia and DC10, as well as major UK institutions such as Ministry of Sound.

In 2022, he released his memoir 'I Don’t Take Requests' with Hodder & Stoughton, which became a Sunday Times bestseller and remained in the Amazon Top 100 for more than four months. He is set to release his second book, 'Recover Me' in 2026.
