Capital radio DJ Sonny started his career as part of the Loveable Rogues; a three piece music band performing original tracks and finishing 4th in the 2012 season of Britain’s Got Talent. The band went on to sign to Simon Cowell’s label SYCO releasing What A Night as their debut single which charted in the top ten of the Official UK Chart.
The band toured the UK as well as supporting the likes of Olly Murs and Scouting For Girls and playing at Wembley Stadium for Capital’s Summertime Ball. In early 2015 they’d be taking a break.
Since then Sonny has moved into the world of broadcasting, having found a home at Capital Radio. Starting off with his own late-night show, he rapidly made a name for himself and is now part of The Breakfast Show with Roman Kemp alongside Vick Hope.
