Laura Wright is famed for her talents as a Soprano and Classical-Crossover singer, having performed for some of the biggest events and at the largest venues over the course of her career. Most notably, she became the official National Anthem singer for the England Rugby Team and wrote the first official anthem for the English Women’s Cricket Team. She has also notably appeared to perform in the opening ceremony at the Invictus Games, organised by Prince Harry, singing her own song Invincible. A hit with royalty, Laura has also sung as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations for Her Majesty The Queen, performing her song Stronger As One.
Outside of performing, Laura is also a passionate charity Ambassador, currently an Ambassador for SportsAid, the Invictus Games and Arthritis Research UK. She has also worked alongside superstar Donny Osmond to raise money for the charity Children in Need and acts as an Ambassador for the Kia Women’s Cricket League. One of her proudest moments is when she appeared to sing with The Royal Ballet in the Covent Garden Opera House, conducted by Barry Wordsworth singing Kyrie in Faure’s Requiem and singing for royalty at Westminster Abbey with a specially written piece. Having also performed on Pall Mall for The Queen’s 90th birthday, Laura is a highly popular choice for a range of events.
