S Club 7 was rarely out of the charts in the late 1990s and early 2000s, becoming the biggest pop band in the country. The group enjoyed their own television show, in addition to four number-one singles, 11 top tens and a whopping 166 weeks spent in the top 75. Though their time together was shortlived, it was fast-paced. Their debut album, S Club, featuring the UK number one hit single, Bring It All Back captured the imagination of millennials. The CBBC TV show, Miami 7 saw the stars of the pop band appear as fictional versions of themselves on their journey to stardom.
On the show, they performed songs from their debut album. The series proved iconic and opened the door for a plethora of hot hits, including S Club Party, Two In a Million, Reach and Natural which all peaked at number two in the charts. S Club 7 followed this up with a hattrick of number ones; Never Had a Dream Come True, Don't Stop Movin' and Have You Ever. Two further series of their television hit; LA 7 and Hollywood 7 sandwiched their new albums.
UK number two, Say Goodbye and a best hits album that went to number two, spending 19 weeks in the charts, signalled the end of S Club 7 for the time being. At least for just over a decade before the group reunited in full for a special appearance on Children in Need in 2014. A 2015 reunion tour, Bring It All Back 2015 followed. In 2018 they formed part of the Stepback 90s tour which featured other 90s stars including Peter Andre, East 17 and 5ive. The show's success has seen a sequel prepped for October and November 2019, which is set to pit 90's and noughties stars up against one another.A beloved group, S Club are returning to stages across the country in celebration of their 25th anniversary as a group.
