Josh Trask is a Welsh solo artist with bounds of natural talent as both a singer and performer. The beautiful tones of his voice are expertly controlled in his performances, and the artistry in his gigs and all-round presence gift audiences truly majestic stage shows.
Josh has the wow factor, and not in short supply. Comfortable in a range of styles and in covering a host of genres, the skilled baritone and tenor has made waves on the musical theatre and jazz circuit over his years in the industry.
Josh has always been musically-oriented and in 2007, he graduated from the London Metropolitan University with an honours degree in Performing Arts. The opportunities came in thick and fast and soon he was making a name for himself on a number of stage shows worldwide.
Just one year after his graduation, Josh was touring America as a solo artist, performing with the Black Mountain Male Chorus. On either side of that, Josh has toured regularly with a host of production companies and performed as the lead vocalist in some of the most exciting shows. He has featured as the lead in various shows such as Toy Box, Route 66, Magical Mystery Tour, Dancing Queen, Disco Inferno, One Fine Day, Mamma Mia and The Cavern Club Presents, to name but a few.
The tour stretched across an incredible 6000 miles, starting in Chicago and finishing in Los Angeles. He went on to star in productions by White Horse Theatre, taking him on a tour of Germany as part of Philip Ridley’s highly-praised play, Leaves of Glass. Critics’ reviews were hugely positive on the play and Josh’s own performance.
His success encouraged him to combine his love of theatre, with his career as a solo artist, to create his own cabaret show that is now available to hire. He has taken this act around the country, featuring as a headliner at a number of exciting venues, and he has built up a collection of distinguished corporate clients. He has expanded his retinue and displayed his talents at a multitude of private events and weddings.
His cabaret production engages wonderfully with audiences and keeps them entertained throughout. It will add the touch of sparkle that any special occasion requires. Josh can even provide a DJ set to accompany his show.
